Thanks to the ASQ programme, Cancún Airport is in a position to assess and confirm the quality of the services it offers and to meet passengers’ needs more effectively. The results obtained reflect the importance that the airport places on passenger satisfaction and the innovations undertaken in our different services. The surveys demonstrate that overall satisfaction has improved during each quarter, in comparison with the previous year’s assessments.

As part of the Airport’s commitment to its passengers, we are constantly reconfiguring our infrastructure in order to make the travel experience within our facilities more comfortable, varied and efficient. We have also broadened our range of shops and restaurants to offer increased choice. In addition to these improvements, it is important to mention that the commitment to quality of the entire airport community has been a key point in allowing us to provide excellent passenger service. For this reason, the award we have won is shared with everyone who participates in this effort on a day-to-day basis.

Second place in Latin America – Caribbean was awarded to Guayaquil Airport.

Guayaquil International Airport (GYE) is honored to have once again received the Airports Council International (ACI) – Airport Service Quality Awards (ASQ) in 2011. Since enrolling in ACI’s, ASQ Program, GYE has become very proactive in doing whatever is possible to meet our customers’ expectations and needs. The ASQ Program has allowed GYE to better understand the passengers and other airport user needs and expectations while optimizing limited resources.

"Juan Santamaria airport is located in Costa Rica, the heart of America. This international airport connects the country, a country committed with ecotourism, with the main destinations of the region and the whole world. More than 3,5 million people visit the airport each year.

Since 2009, Juan Santamaria airport has been under the administration of AERIS. This company modernized the terminal in record time, and increased the surface in 14, 000 square meters with a 40% increase of the airline checking counters and a 100% increase of security and migration counters. It also opened up services for new ports and increased commercial deals thinking about high quality services for the passengers, and comfort and enjoyment of them. The airport is currently getting ready for strengthening the services we offer to our customers.

Thanks to the leadership and support of Costa Rica government together with the committed labor of AERIS, planning the growth of the airport has been started. We count with ambitious programs for the development of the infrastructure of the airport. Thus so that we can continue growing and offering a world quality service.”
