After the completion of the Terminal Building upgrade in May 2010 and the Airport Essence project in October 2010 , it has become quite apparent that the airport was on the right track, we noticed our ratings improving overnight, passengers were excited and so appreciative of the final product.

What was also noticeable was the change in staff members, you could see the pride and the motivation it was a pleasure to come to work and they all took ownership of the work environment. Stakeholders started sharing information, ideas on more improvements were discussed at Airport Management meetings, the cleaning company together with their staff shared ideas on improving their services, and when the quarterly ratings came out – all awaits the results with anticipation and excitement. Definitely a more positive approach from all is noted.

The journey has commenced, but there is so much more to be accomplished – let every airport claim its rightful place!
