The award for Best Regional Airport in North America went to Québec City Jean Lesage International Airport.

Commenting on this achievement, Mr. Gaëtan Gagné, President and Chief Executive Officer of Québec City Airport said “Once again, YQB was voted the best regional airport in North America. This achievement is the result of the energy we put into materializing our philosophy of the Passenger First. 2011 was an historic year, as we not only won this prestigious award for the second year in a row, but we achieved new heights with an increase of over 10% in passenger traffic, while launching a new phase of our modernization which involve investments of $225 M over the next five years”.

The Québec City Jean-Lesage International Airport’s success is reflected by an increase in traffic of 25 % in the last 2 years. These impressive statistics reflect an ever-growing diversification of flights as well as the devotion and the efforts made day-in, day-out by the entire airport staff as well as our Passenger Experience Department, whose teamwork and unflagging dedication bring our “Passenger First” commitment to life.
